Dear Friends,
Our news is saturated with information about Pandemic Swine Flu. Yesterday, a friend of mine who has been employed for several years, to study and prepare her company for the possibility of a pandemic, suggested that I review and follow guidelines for preparation. I want to post this link for all of you and suggest that you also take the time to read and prepare for the possibility of flu in your area.
It is better to review and prepare in advance, because if flu comes to an area, it can travel quickly. Hopefully, this outbreak will subside, but if it does not, you will be prepared.

Thanks Ronnie,
Just what we don't need to think about! But thank you for the informative link. Being immersed in this grief leaves little time for matters of the "outside" world.
Not only is this forum good for the emotional support, it seems practical matters are also addressed!
Thanks again,
Dia |

I have a good friend I email daily in Mexico - I've been hearing about how bad it is there and I do worry for my friend.
I've heard there have already been 3 cases in Denver - so its in my state already, and thanks for the info which I'll review carefully.

I didn't even get the regular flu shot.
There are simply no vaccines in my area anymore.

| Thank you for your posting on the flu. My granddaughters and I have gotten the shot. In my community, the girls got theirs the beginning of October and we had a two and half hour wait in line. I got mine last Friday and did not wait at all. I have heard of how sick people become and how fast they do get sick if they get the H1N1 flu. God Bless All, I pray we all survive it. |
